Welcome to the raddest woodworking class for young ones in town!
Below is a layout of what this class will be all about.
This will be for ages 7-11yrs old and during the span of this class, we will be making a rad toy/storage box out of reclaimed wood with a carrying handle on top and a buckle latch to keep it closed also we will be making a rad chalkboard with a reclaimed shiplap frame! Practical items that can be taken home and used on a daily basis while learning woodworking skills that they can hold on to for years to come!

My goal is to teach practical skills that can be carried on through the years of growing up whether they do woodworking as a profession when they get older or just be able to use it as a hobby. Also, I want to inspire future woodworkers to chase their dreams if they have that desire to do woodworking as a profession when they grow up. This is a CORE class that meets once a week for fall term. Parents are required to attend the mandatory Core Parent Meeting immediately following Family Orientation on either August 24th at 2pm, August 24th at 6pm, September 7th at 2pm, or September 7th at 6pm.
Join us as we learn about world geography. We will learn about cartography, navigation, the locations of states, countries, cities, mountain ranges, bodies of water, time zones, seasons, etc. through competitive games and various projects.
This is a full-year class. There will be about an hour of homework each school day for this class. Instructor will administer and correct tests and keep grade records. We will be using Seterra.com and Google Maps extensively.

Learn and build on the basic principles of hand-building with clay. Projects may include: functional pots, sculpture, tiles and more. The projects will encourage freedom of expression, allowing students to personalize their piece while also nurturing the need to follow a process and value the structure inspired by successful ceramic projects. Functional pieces such as cups, plates and bowls will all be made from dishwasher and microwave safe materials, creating heirloom memories your family may enjoy for generations.
