I specialize in collaborating with homeschool families and diagnosing and treating a variety of speech and language issues including stuttering/dysfluency, speech and articulation delay, expressive and receptive language delay and pragmatic language differences. - Do you wonder if your child may have a speech or language delay or disorder? - Are you concerned about speech development and just need a professional opinion you can trust? - I am able to complete a thorough clinical evaluation and talk you through a diagnosis, my thoughts on your child’s speech/language development as well as provide a follow up written evaluation report - If needed I can provide treatment strategies for at home family intervention - I can also provide a clinical referral to an excellent Speech Pathologist for follow up weekly treatment if indicated - - I’m a fellow homeschool mom with 4 young children. Description:1000 Hours Outside is a curriculum dedicated to getting kids outside and active, while also using nature to get creative. In this class we will be doing projects from the 1000 Hours Outside activity book and learning about the plants and animals of the Pacific Northwest. The curriculum is about the time parents and their kids spend outside together when not in class. If you have a child that is younger, parents welcome to sit in and help with crafts. Spend as much time outside as humanly possible! Rain or shine, it’s all making memories and developing knowledge for your family. Students will need 1 “1000 Hours Outside” activity book and 1 foraging bag (You can buy these at 1000HoursOutside.com)

Description:Welcome to The Art In Beekeeping! In this class we’ll be painting and drawing and crafting- all around the same bee-autiful theme: HONEYBEES! While we craft we’ll be learning all about the characteristics of the honeybee, the bee-ology, and the responsibilities of the beekeeper. So bring your creativity along as we learn about the honey-making creatures and their beauty in art. But bee careful, things could get sticky. Students are welcome to bring an apron or oversized t-shirt for messy crafting

Description:I teach private piano lessons Levels 1-6, seeking to develop students’ piano playing skills and love for music in a nurturing environment. I am a graduate of Prairie Bible College and Pensacola Christian College, have a Level 10 Piano Certificate from Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), and have 35 years’ experience, including classical and church music. Using Faber Piano Adventures as the basic curriculum, which includes a variety of musical styles, I introduce beginning students to keyboard topography, note reading, rhythms and finger technique, using fun pieces and duets with teacher. After advancing through the intermediate level, I channel students to Keith Snell’s Piano Repertoire series. A PARENT IS REQUIRED TO BE PRESENT AND OBSERVE LESSONS FOR CHILDREN 10 AND UNDER AND TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE DURING HOME PRACTICE TIME Requires Faber Piano Adventures Method, Technique and Performance books according to appropriate level. 30 minutes for Levels 1-3, 45 minutes for Levels 4 and up. $90 per month for 30 minute lesson, $120 per month for 45 minute lesson. Violin lessons also available.
