The curriculum is about the time parents and their kids spend outside together when not in class. If you have a child that is younger, parents welcome to sit in and help with crafts. I teach private piano lessons Levels 1-6, seeking to develop students’ piano playing skills and love for music in a nurturing environment. I am a graduate of Prairie Bible College and Pensacola Christian College, have a Level 10 Piano Certificate from Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), and have 35 years’ experience, including classical and church music. Using Faber Piano Adventures as the basic curriculum, which includes a variety of musical styles, I introduce beginning students to keyboard topography, note reading, rhythms and finger technique, using fun pieces and duets with teacher. After advancing through the intermediate level, I channel students to Keith Snell’s Piano Repertoire series. A PARENT IS REQUIRED TO BE PRESENT AND OBSERVE LESSONS FOR CHILDREN 10 AND UNDER AND TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE DURING HOME PRACTICE TIME
Requires Faber Piano Adventures Method, Technique and Performance books according to appropriate level. 30 minutes for Levels 1-3, 45 minutes for Levels 4 and up. $90 per month for 30 minute lesson, $120 per month for 45 minute lesson. Violin lessons also available.
