In this adventure five kids get transported back in time to the Battle at Trenton smack in the middle of the American Revolution. The kids will meet some famous names in the founding of our country including George Washington and have to make some hard-heroic decisions. The second book we will read will be Ereth's Birthday. This book focuses on a foul tempered porcupine who may expect a little too much from his best friend and ends up an unlikely hero in the end. The third book will be Hatchet. In this book, a 13 year old boy finds himself a victim of a small plane crash in the jungle and moves through a journey of survival and healing. This class will focus on character building through discussion, writing book reports IEW style, and reading. I have experience and specialized training in differential diagnosis and treatment of pediatric stuttering, voice disorders, articulation delays, expressive and receptive language disorders, social communication disorders as well as sensory differences. In addition, I treat children with motor-and sensory-based feeding difficulties. I love working alongside children and homeschool families and I’m here to help!
SLP Evaluation/Consultations are $80 and are approximately 1 hour and include a formal assessment as well as written report and recommendations. Weekly treatment can also be provided for children on an as needed basis. Weekly treatment is $30 for each 30 minute session with comprehensive family training, home practice and progress plan included. Come learn the beautiful language of Japanese with the help of an Integrated workbook, Japanese From Zero, level 1. In this club, we will be learning the basics of Kanji, Hiragana, Japanese grammar, and more regarding the Japanese culture, food, and body language. We'll try Japanese food, snacks, and play Japanese games. You can learn and explore the wonders of Japan. You will learn how to introduce yourself, tell time, and discuss your likes and dislikes. We’ll learn everyday phrases and proper procession. By the end of the session our goal is to help you be comfortable in speaking, reading, and writing basic Japanese. What better way to learn a language and study a culture?
Students will need to bring their textbook, a notebook, and writing utensils.
One semester of this class can be used for .5 credits in both language and a social studies.

***This class is a 15 week course and begins the 2nd week of the semester (price reflects course length). Enter our new ballet program with this basic ballet class. In this class, students will be taught the basics of ballet, how to follow instructions, ballet etiquette, and prepare a performance piece for the Christmas and Spring Dance Shows. This is a year long class and students will be asked to commit to attending for the entire year. Ballet attire is required to attend class (pink tights, leotard, and ballet slippers) as well as hair pulled back in a bun. We look forward to enjoying the basics of ballet through barre work, stretching, and floor exercises. Dancers will have the opportunity to share their dances at our Christmas and Spring Shows. The Spring Show is scheduled for May 21st and 22nd at 6:30 PM, with a dress rehearsal the evening before on May 20th at 6:30 PM. Students taking multiple classes (or siblings) receive half off their second class taken with the same instructor. Fees may be paid monthly or by semester. Costume fees for the Spring Show are due by March 15th. (Estimated $25 to rent.)
