Children ages 9-12 years old will develop a strong understanding of a safe and effective workout in a fun and encouraging environment. Each class builds on the last class to improve agility, strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility. Join Miss Kristin, (AFAA- Aerobics, and Fitness Association of America), Certified Group Fitness Instructor. Together we will work through obstacle courses, resistance and bodyweight training, basic sports movements, interval training, and some fun self defense moves. Many new and exciting games like spiderball, sprout, pinball, and tower topple. As well as tug of war, dodgeball, scooter and relay races, and much more! This program is designed for each child to build confidence in their abilities, at their own level of fitness, while learning teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Please be on time for our warm up at the very beginning and have your student use the restroom before class. Bring water & athletic shoes.

Playful Preschool PE is all about our kids doing things they love to do. Exploring their world through play in movement! Kids will be encouraged every step of the way to participate, share their excitement for each game, and learn good sportsmanship and teamwork. Classes are energized with fun exercise, parachute play, relays, freeze tag, pinball, bowling, scooters, barnyard tag, jumping beans, jump rope, and obstacle courses that will build strength, agility, coordination, and confidence. This is a CORE class that meets twice a week for the full year. Parents are required to attend the mandatory Core Parent Meeting immediately following Family Orientation on either August 24th at 2pm, August 24th at 6pm, September 7th at 2pm, or September 7th at 6pm.
Year 2 continues on the foundation built in year 1. Students will review and expand on verb conjugations, especially irregular forms learned in the first year. The focus in year 2 will be on the past tense and expanding vocabulary for conversations. Class time will cover the book lessons and practice speaking and listening so attendance is vital. Additionally, fun activities will be used to make class lively and anchor lessons.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of Spanish verb conjugation and beginning conversation skills is required. One year of Spanish is ideal. Native speakers are welcome to study the grammar. Required materials: ABEKA Spanish 1B (Por Todo El Mundo B) student books and Vocabulary manual.

All ladies are welcome 12 years old to adult, that are looking for a unique workout. Students will learn how to develop a safe and effective workout in a fun and encouraging environment. Through various types of targeted circuit training with small equipment, and pre choreographed movement to music, ladies will be strengthened, motivated, and build confidence. Our focus will be on interval, strength, core, balance, self-defense training, flexibility, and some boxing skills and drills. Boxing gloves and punch mitts provided by instructor. There will be no contact other than the gloves to the mitts. Classes will help participants gain coordination, agility, and sculpt lean muscle. Training at each participant's pace is the key to success. Join Miss Kristin, AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America) Certified Group Fitness Instructor for a fun full body workout, warm up to cool down. An energizing game will be added to the end of class from time to time to grow teamwork and sportsmanship. Please bring water and athletic shoes.

Students 12-16 years old will build strength, improve speed, agility, and coordination. This program is designed for each student to set fitness goals as we track and conquer them. Train at your own pace and build self-confidence with a preset number of timed exercises with a partner or on teams. Together we will work on self-defense with boxing skills and drills. Instructor will provide the boxing gloves and punch mitts. No contact other than the gloves to the mitts. Challenge your core strength with throw downs, planks, bucket carry and so much more to build lean muscle! Have you ever tried a pull up or a sandbag squat? Learn how here! Circuit training is a powerful tool for fitness that we will utilize. Warm up to cool down will be packed full of fun fitness and challenges. Class will either start or finish with a game for more teamwork fun and good sportsmanship. New Projects! Though this is a Part III continuation of the Drawing, Color & Originality class, Parts 1 & 2 are NOT a prerequisite! Please join us! Classes are designed to revisit many of the concepts and structure from Parts I & II, with new material. This class will continue to touch on important foundational elements of a successful drawing or painting as we periodically refer to works created by master and contemporary artists, putting our hand to fresh new artful experiences. We will move together, using directed drawing in many projects to learn how to “see” the world as an artist, breaking complex objects into simple shapes. It is helpful to prepare your student in knowing the emphasis in this class will be placed on “loosening up;” placing less energy in obtaining perfected realism, and more focus in celebrating the fresh and “imperfect” mark making that contributes to an interesting painting and design. If your student is open to following along with directions to reach a beautiful and unique end result they can be proud of, this is the class for them! I will draw from my background as a professional painter to weave art concepts through projects with the use of multiple mediums such as Sharpie, marker, tempura, oil pastel, watercolor and even printmaking! This class is intended to be a wonderful respite woven into the busy week, designed for the young artist to slow down, mindfully observing details commonly overlooked, and marveling at intricacies of creation. Just as each of our signatures reflect our own unique style, so does our artwork! We will correlate this concept to a marveling at God’s gift in creating each of us as an original masterpiece, each with our own unique gifts and strengths that we were given to experience and contribute beauty in this world. Students will complete several bold, beautiful projects throughout the semester, each taking more than one session to complete.
**Please note class duration will be 80 minutes.** Due to the nature of multiple-session projects, it is important your student attends as many classes as possible. Please send students in clothes that can get messy so they can feel free to create!
